I just acquired a clean little 76 kh 500. She needs to be gone thru after a long hibernation. Can anyone recommend any mechanics in Ventura county or San Fernando Valley?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Melvin, Welcome to a great site! This was written by 12dot (Tom) and is pretty thorough.

Also Dale has great info as well...

These bikes are relatively easy to work on. If you can change a spark plug, you should be able to tackle a going over using Tom's checklist.
