The 76 KH500 is really a good triple, maybe the best. That frame deserves a more powerful engine, like a rubber mounted 750.

I had a factory original H1B. Nice bike, but the KH500 handled better.

I have two projects a 1970 H1 and a 1975 H1F I will probably sell the 1970.

Best looking H1 is the Red '70. By a country mile!!! But I'm a big whoosie and like rubbermounted bikes that turn and stop.

which is the '70 got '74 rubbermounted cases with early ported cylinders and 34mm carbs. H1d/H2 ignition system, KZ650 swingarm (cause it looks stock) and H2 front end with EX brake. The bike Kawasaki should have built...oh, and every bike needs a luggage rack

And Jorgen is correct... The KH500 frame screams to have a rubbermounted H2 engine in it!!!

Even the 73-75 H1 frame likes the 750 motor. The KH frame does have a bit more plating in the headstock, which on the street would probably never be felt.
