Had to remove the carbs today from my 76 kh 400 because of a stuck needle valve. When I removed the cap from the body there was rubber gasket under the cap. Is this correct? Looked at parts list but its not there. Please help me out, This is what I was looking at and the gasket was under part part number 6. All three carbs had it. Thanks

Yes the rubber seal should be in the carb caps.

If you need rubber bits, Jess is a good one to ask.

They seal the carb top to the body. If you need one you can make it from a scrap of inner tube, or buy one of course as III said.

Thanks guys. I'll make some from old tubes. Now as soon as my exhaust manifold gaskets get here she'll be back on the road. Great site thanks for all the help.
