I plumbed up the cooling system on the Olds with help from Roger, Tom and Gene. After we discovered a few leaks, I decided to run it.

We ran it for about a hour and I'm ecstatic to say it ran quite well.

Still have to take care of the leaks but it was sweet music to my ears.

thanks for the posted links. I could listen to that for what seems like hours--its like its own orchestra. Your shop looks amazing.

I wish that was my shop. I have it on display at Rough and Tumble Historical Association in Kinzers, PA right off Rt30 ( Lancaster area )
www.roughandtumble.org

It's a working museum where most all the items are working. The Olds is a pretty rare engine so instead of keeping it at home, I keep it out there so more people can see it.

Here's a walk thru their engine buildings ( my Olds engine is now at the back wall in the building where the video starts out )

You don't need a watch to know when it's lunch time during the shows

I'll try to get a 3 or 4 minute video of it running later and put it on YT. Add music to it and post it back up.

That thing is excellent. Really neat that it is that old and still ticking. I got a free restored IH 1944 hit miss from one of my Dad's friends and I love to just crank it up and let it pop. Its pretty quiet though compared to some of the other ones.
