Just wanting everyone's opinion and I'm talking the best riding driving, not collectability.

Thanks,

the most desirable feature for me is the rubber mounted cases on the later models.

So that would be the 1973 thru 1976 models, right?

The one in your garage!

Early ones are quicker and more collectible. Later ones look more modern, are smoother riding and stop a little better. Early ones are more expensive to maintain - including some ignition parts that are virtually impossible to find (distributor caps).

The difference in riding/driving from one H1 model to the next is really not worth worrying about in my opinion.

I like the H2 type ignition system on the '73 H1, but I don't know if that outweighs rubber engine mounting.

It would be best to have one of each model year! Then decide...

Or build a special that takes the best bits from every year.

The '69/'70's are the best H1, the later ones are a H 0.75 or something............... ( )
