Guts that's abig collection wow !  me 12 rifles and four hand guns, room for a few more then its flip to make room time. A Python and a IH Garrand in my safe would make me smile

"Real" or not, it sure is one pretty bike whether or not it has a pedigree. It's cool that someone took the time and effort to build it and make it as historical correct as possible. But ---- guns  I have a few. This is an old pic, there's two more cabinets now. PLEASE, if you do decide to be a gun owner, be a responsible one, safety, education, proper care and handling, with the best way to educate small children to adults, teach them how to properly use a gun, to be responsible, caring, safe and aware. REMEMBER, guns alone, do not injure, nor kill others, their operators do. Here we have a former gun shop owner waiting his murder trial of his wife 17 months ago. I can see their old place from mine, and she was my mail lady. She went home for her daily lunch break, was out in the back yard, when, supposedly, an AR15 came off a wall hook set, fell to the floor, aimed out the back open door, discharged, and the woman got hit, in her neck. Dead almost instantly. Only problem with all that was, her neck was about two feet above the level of the stairs at the door, and the trajectory was just not right, as the entry would was aimed at a slightly downward angle, suggesting the round was fired from about 5 feet above the deck/floor. The gun shop owner was in the process of moving the shop to his house, since he couldn't change his ATF license to a new building in town, and was going internet sales. Come to find out, the only gun related thing he owned was the ATF license, the rest of everything else was owned by his wife, the deceased. The worst of it all, he was chasing other women around, and the two small children in the house, including the time the incident occurred, ages 5 and 1-1/2 years, and, her losing her life, along with those kids never being the same again. I know thins doesn't have anything to do with the H1Rm pictured, but, guns got introduced into the topic, and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, practice gun safety, 24/7/12/365. |

Here's a view from behind my competition rifle where we shoot in PA. The white dots are not targets, they're the number boards for the banks of targets and are about 3ft in diameter. Their set at 200, 300, 400 and 500 meters. If you look carefully just to the left and a little above the elevation knob on the sight you can see a white speck near the treeline. That white speck is "Homer" the 1/2 scale buffalo. He's 980 yards away. We shoot that far with cast bullets and black powder. The rifle is a 40-65 Browning 1885 High Wall. I have, U.S. Army. Combat vet, Southeast Asia. I make the two firing pins for our county public works director's 1875 New Baker exposed hammer double barrel shotgun this coming week after I get back home. I make a lot of parts for friend's guns. |
