Did the 250 triples ever have the hydraulic steering damper? The S1C I'm finishing up had one on when I tore it down but I can't find a single picture of an S series bike with one installed. |

Late model do not show it in diagram, but I could not see a side mount one for frame fittings anywhere??? http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/K ... parts.html "You know who" will have the answer. I bet a post on RBs forum nets you an answer fast too. |

The S3/A offered a steering damper as an optional part (46117-006). Can't say for sure about the S1C but it makes sense that it would also have been available as an option. |

I'm starting to think it came with it because the welds on the mount look factory to me. I looked at the KH250 frame I have(I'm restoring a 1976 KH250 next)and it doesn't have the mount. I have found that the S1C has a number of different parts than the KH250 does. |

Neither mechanic or hydraulic steering damper is need on a S1 |
