Almost 10 years have gone by since I picked this up in 2008. Finally making some movements. The owner crashed in 1976 and it is frozen in time with only 790 miles. I am determined to get this one restored.

I also noticed my other H2C has black front wheel hub and this one has bare finish...didn't pay much attention 'til now.

Pretty! Did you rubber mount the motor?

Are there rubber mounts for H2C? The motor is not mounted yet since I have yet to paint the frame.

790 miles and has a 4 hole KZ/KH front hub. Kind of sucks, looks like you put a lot of effort in redtoring that wheel.

Hows that hub going to work on an H2  axle and rotor is too small for the forks, I'm trying to do the same and get an 18 front rim on an H1, I think one can only lace a H series hub to an 18 rim for a solution.

You guys got me curious now...like I said, I never paid much attention to the front hub until I started to lace the wheel. The front rim is 19" and rear is 18". I will check about 4 bolt v. 6 bolt pattern. So did Kawasaki switch to this hub for late H2C model. This has frame ID of H2F47XXX.

There is a guy that makes the ones for the 500's which would be the same. You have to machine the cases, and be creative with the front mount hole. I did mine, day and night.

The 4 bolt (S3/KZ650) are a smaller diameter rotor and won't work because the caliper lugs will be too high , I too would like to make this work, but what to do  :?:

I am learning as I go...thanks to you sharp-eyed folks.

This 4-bolt H2C Rotor is larger than S3 rotor, it is the same size as other H2's. You need the same rotor on my bike. The picture below show H2C rotor which is larger than the one on the right (which is same as my S3 rotor).

The spokes I used are the same as standard H2 spokes. This is the only H2 I own that has bare finish front hub. I am just going to put it back as factory correct so I won't adapt rubber engine mounts. I do need to buy some H1 rubber mounts though for several other H1's that i am attacking.

I'm not buying the mileage  stuff is too dirty for those miles . . . and a change of front wheel so soon ? I can't work out what it is, the wheel should be a KZ900 One or KZ650 Etc - Whats the date code on the rim ? Whats the date code on the disc ? Obviously the axle is also wrong, but the forks seem to be correct but the fork boots just don't look right. The front sprocket looks like the lock tab has been opened ? the rear sprocket tabs look suspect as well . . but the photos aren't clear enough  It looks to be a later H2c anyway . . . can we get a photo of the meters
