LIGHTLY oil, and reinstall the K&N's. Jet from there.

That's funny !

I restored two 72' H2's and had numerous H 1's . Trust me, a light oil on the filters and jetting is not going to make it run. I have done everything possible.

Start over. Stock jugs, stock porting, stock heads, stock carbs, it will run great, it will start up every time. ENJOY.

I don't think it is funny. You KNOW the K&N's work, eliminate a possible problem by returning them to service.

In your posts, you said the only changes were air filters and pipes, then, jetting.

Not funny one little bit.

I had a real small piece of junk get caught in a jet one time and the start cables/plungers can cause fuel to get by and flood. Just a thought.

Today I dragged the H2 out of the corner and cussed at a it a few times. Pulled the carbs cleaned them once again. I installed 105 mains , stock 40 pilot and checked it's on the 4 clip. this time I installed the K&N pods not the UNI's . Added petrol , a few kicks and it ran perfect. Did a few laps around lake and it's all good .
Next weekend i will install another set of new pugs and put some miles on it and do a few plug checks. Maybe i won;t set it on fire after all

:) :) :)
