Sooo.... Im still picking away at this bike. Its about a days worth of work away from being done. Its coming out sweet. Semi stock looking....semi period hot rodded. My buddy , a 25 year body man, did the paint and it looks so great. Last night fitted up the carbs. Today I need to sync them up then mount the air box boot. The wiring is finally done too, plust new tires, lower bars, tomaselli grips, and my chambers were blasted and I re painted them. The pipes laid out nicely on the 69. I put new fork uppers in there plus steering head bearings. I still need to blast/paint the clutch cover plus mount that up. Then test/flush the oil pump and track down some seat hardware. The bike came to me with the distributor off and the whole system in a box and not looking too good. So there is still that too. One I figure out how to upload pics I will share.

Got lots done today. Took it off the lift that its been on for the past 6 months. Funny how a different view makes me see lots I forgot about. I have a few cable re routes to do. My seat is whacky. The forward part of the pan is sitting flat on the frame as it should, but the rear is lifted up. Im wondering if this isnt the correct seat. Sure looks it to me though. Havnt fired it yet. The ignition/distributor area was apart when I got it. So now im seeing all the rubber and seals im missing in that area. Im not entirley sure how the distributor goes together, or if im missing anything in there.

This drove me nuts. The fact that the metallic green was under gray primer...then under the green was the original paint. There was no way to save it. But at least I managed a photo before stripping it off.
