Hello, new member from Massachusetts. I recently purchased a restored 73 H2 after a long time away from two strokes. I traded a 66 Olds 442 for a 73 H2 and a 69 Corvair while in the service in 76. Ended up selling the bike when I got discharged and married in 77. Since then I have had several different bikes from a 79 CBX to a 55 Panhead bobber which I still own. Unfortunately the roads have been too salty to ride and try her out. Thanks for all the valuable information on the site, a lot of good information to read up on until spring!

Good story (and many have a similar one) and welcome here. Yeah it's common for someone to buy a bike of their youth as an adult but often it needs a lot of work. There's a tremendous amount of kawasaki triple specific knowledge here. Post ANY question you might have no matter how trivial. You can try a search first but sometimes it returns too many threads to read from so don't be afraid to just ask new if you don't find an answer quickly.

There's some sticky noties on the main speficially one called "The Resource Site". You'lll find the most comprehensive list of triple information anywhere, check it out and you'll be blown away.

Welcome again
