Hi.
This afternoon, I have striped the red paint on the second H1A rear mudguard.
Under the paint, I have found this :

Do you know what it means ?

Thank you.

Merry Xmas

Inspection sticker from Ohio, 1974. It's backwards because they are usually placed inside the windshield of cars or trucks to be read from the "sticky" side.

Did Ohio require them on motorcycles, or did that guy just do it for kicks?

We used to have stickers very much like that on cars here in NC, but the only motorcycle I had back then was my H2, which was exempt from safety inspections because of its age, so I don't know if they put stickers on motorcycles or not.

Yes, Ohio State Inspection Sticker. PA uses them also. And they also used to stick them to the fender. Now they put them on the front fork here in PA.
