Sarver Heart Center’s newest video makes it easy to learn Continuous Chest Compression CPR. Every three days, more Americans die from sudden cardiac arrest than the number who died in the 9-11 attacks. You can lessen this recurring loss by learning this hands-only CPR method that doubles a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest. Watch physician researchers Gordon A. Ewy, MD, and Karl Kern, MD, demonstrate the easy, life-saving method that they developed at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Watch the 6 minutes video and learn a new hands only CPR technique. No mouth to mouth, no stopping to check for pulse.

You may save the life of a loved one or save some stranger's life

Excellent, thank you. I'll show it to the rest of the family today. I did get a small chuckle at the line "...they're soon to be dead, and no matter what you do, you can't make 'em worse."

The method has been around for a while now.

I know this much...from experience......you better have about eight people in line ready to rotate every minute or so. If it's just two of you, you had better rotate frequently. It takes a long time for an ambulance to get there.

Something I would recommend everyone does, no matter if you *think* you'll never need it. Case in point my 15 month old daughter had a fall, hit her head and stopped breathing. Had it not been for the required CPR/first aide I am required to take as a teacher, I am not sure she would be here with out that.

As a rider it would be beneficial too. A lot of what ifs/scenerios while riding solo/group rides..
