as you know am Raask rearset with ace bar on my H2A: nearly perfect but am a little to much on the rear (and am 1.76 meter high).
I love clips on and had some on my K triples on the 70s. But now with the vibrations I prefer ace bar which is rubber mounting.
But a H2 or an early H1 with clips on is awesome (but not the riding position if you haven'i also rearset  .

For us Americans...1.76 meter = 5.77 ft.

For the English that's 5' 9 1/2"

Hey JP I'm 179cm so a good match, went back and had a look at some of your photos, gives me an good idea of the riding position.

If the early pipes fit the later H2B/C and the later pipes fit the early H2/A, why such a big mod for the rear sets??

Baz, the reason is on B or C model, there are at the end of the rear triangle two round tube welded on the frame on which held the rear pipes brackets and the rear peg.
So Jim has screwed his rear set on those two tubes. On 71-73 H2 there is only one tube on the rear triangle. So Jim's rearset can't be screwed.
Position with raask is very comfortable peculiary with the half fairing on my H2A.
