June 21, 1972 got my license and Dad bought me a shiny new S2 for my surprise 16th birthday present. Some folks who know me would say he must not care for his oldest child putting a firecracker into his hands, but I disagree. Dear Dad is still smiling on me from heaven.

Got a job in 1967 at age 15 and my dad took me to the Honda shop where I bought a scrambler 90. Within a year I was owner of an A7 Avenger. I survived, got married, got rid of my mc in 1975, had kids, raised them, and then wanted another mc, but not a new one. I wanted another 2s. Figured RD's would be the easiest for me to deal with. So in 2005 became a girlie biker.

both my elder brother rode bikes, suzuki`s and Honda`s,so I was early influenced :-)
I bought my first bike I 77,a Yamaha YL 100,a T350 II in 77, then a GT100 in 78,and a GS1000 in 79 :D
then the interest really got me,and I have had many bikes after that. didn't get a Kawasaki triple before in 86 I think it was, a H1A,then 2 years later a 72 H2.
I am now rebuilding a 73 H2 sold new here in town.
there is a webpage showing several of the bike I had/have,sadly I don't have photos of all , http://www.kennelcichla.com/
click other hobbies, and select bikes, have a look if you want :-)

I love the Le Mans II, Viking. Did you ride it much?

yes,did put some 1000 km.s on it :) one of my favorite bikes at that time, and as always, never should have sold it.....now they are highly collectable here, both the LM I and the LM II,but they are very hard to find in good condition,at least here in Norway

They're fairly rare here, and relatively expensive, although no more than an H2 in good original condition. I have an '89 Mille GT and enjoy it very much, as long as I'm not trying to set 1/4 mile records.

:-) then the LM vs H2 price is the same as in Norway ,but they are a hell of a lot more difficult to find than H2`s :-)
but then again, there must have been imported 100`s of triples to Norway the last 30 years ,and probably only a handful LM.

Started out on a Brigestone 50 1966 , 5 bikes later all 2-strokes , bought a new 72 H2 in Boca Raton Fl. Three speeding tickets and 10,000 miles in the first year I sold it. My license was in jeopardy and I just could not slow down. Couple more bikes later bought a 1978 R100/7 97.000 miles and 10 years not one ticket. Found a 75 S3 last spring and sure do enjoy riding it ,also own a 77 RD 400 they get equal time . Have also owned SV 650 TLS 1000 and naked SV 1000 and the speeding tickets came back again , no more go fast bikes for me . Now in my mid sixtys back riding 79 R80 powerd R65 for longer trips and camping . All together I guess I lost track after owning over 35 motorcycles but have not gone more than 6 months in 50 years with out I motorcycle of my own to ride.
