Phoenix Project is preflighted and ready for the 122 mile round trip to work tomorrow. I'll be stopping by Manassas on the way back to see Brian (vtwinjunkie) for a visit 8-) 8-) 8-)
It is supposed to be 45 degrees in the morning here so it will be a tad chilly on the way to Dulles.

Have fun! How abut some Go-Pro footage of that commute Tim? Be safe and ride like you are invisible to others, especially the cagers.

I rode to work Friday and then went to a customer's house; it was kinda chilly in MD.
Best part was, the project is to design an acoustic enclosure around the client's 17 kW generator as it will not meet the local 55 dBA nightime spec at the proeprty line. In fact, no fixed mount residential generator will mee this spec.
BTW, the guy has a generator as his son has an imune defeiciency disease that requires his medicine alway be refridgerated and it's not the kind of medicime that you get at the drug store but rather rare and expesnive doses that are rationed.
Only seemed fitting to ride an H2 with Denco's to the ultimate snobby wealthy neighborhood.

Since you know the area, Jim, I used to have a friend whose family owned Avenel Farm. He was into old BMW bikes, and his cousin had a Griffith with a hot 289 in it. Somehow the friend's mother felt that my H2 with chambers was not only too loud for her property, but shouldn't even be allowed on Persimmon Tree Rd. I was always coasting down their driveway and getting pushed out. We did have go-cart races on their newly coated oval driveway one weekend when the parents were out of town.
