18 years ago my goal was to collect 7 bikes and I thought that was a stretch. RB emailed me at that time and told me his collection was over 50. My reaction was, this guy is nuts has BAD (bike addiction disease) disease. Well, forward to the present, I am not really sure how many bikes I actually own today and even my wife gave up keeping track of the count....too late and too old to get a divorce now... Well, I may be eligible to join the BAD club I suppose.

I did post earlier on what was your 1st and your current or last bike...a lot of people shared their stories and pictures and I really enjoyed it...thanks! My passion for triples and other Kawie bikes just keep on ballooning. I also mentioned that there will be a last bike purchase and I just have made that decision. I will buy my last bike and I mean it. I will buy a BADass bike!

The remaining question is, how many bikes does it take to join the BAD club?

Yes, I'm part of that club. The "disease" seems to start slow but then spreads quick. I'd say 10+ bikes is a sign you are infected.
I've got quite a few vintage Hondas but my Kaw stable is building....

I had BAD but went to the Doctor. Actually wife sold plane, I was not going to keep the hangar for bikes so I sold off 27 bikes and kept 7. The 2 mini bikes are just added but I won't count them.

The 34 max total bikes were not all triples - only my H2 and the rest were dirt bikes and old street bikes from the 60's and 70s (CB175's, CB350's, a CB750F, my BSA, Bull Taco, etc).

Actually I'm glad most of them have gone on to be something since I don't work on them nearly as much as I used to. I do miss the BSA 441 tracker - should have kept that one.

Here's some of them. They doubled after I moved to colorado.

Barry, the doctor did not cure you buddy. Having more than 5 is still having the BAD disease.

Barry! A plane and 34 bikes? I am envious.

Really though, I "only" have 9 bikes and it takes me years to get a project finished. No more bikes for me unless one falls into my lap. Like an RD350 or a CB400F. Or a...
