The price here, and by "here" I mean rural North Carolina, is $2/ft². I'm sure it would be more in a big city. That's a nice looking driveway. :D

Looks like it's ready to ride. Clean it up a little, check it out, and go.

When I lived in Columbia I kept closer track of the sports. Decades ago, my father used to film the basketball and football games for the coaches, and I tagged along as his helper. Those were good times, I'll never forget back in 1973 standing at the top of the press box, probably throwing paper airplanes, and being awestruck that we beat Nebraska.

Ironically, that was in fact, October 13th, 1973......

The owner of the 500 already turned down an offer of $1200.00 from "someone in Nebraska". He said it has carb issues, but "I have a spare bottom end,
front fender. Tires not so good (dry rot) but hold air, tank has been recoated inside, title ok."

Just had my first conversation with him. Heading over to Kansas Saturday to look at it and make an offer.

I saw one that looked nicer go for $1500.00 on eBay recently, heck, you never know really what one of these is going to be worth.

This one is a 1975, I made sure I was not looking at another 72B.... Once was enough

Help me out, what would you offer, what would you pay?

Thanks!

If I were wanting it to improve on whats there.....If the engine doesn't need a crank rebuild, I'd consider offering 1,500.
If I were looking for something to restore back to stock I'd offer him 400.
