Rod, they have minimal effect on spark intensity, not visible in a side by side test. I want to see if they improve the ignition noise problem with onboard electronics. The 5k version is known to help, but some say they can overheat and fail on an H2. Looney Cylinders reports that he has no problem with them on the early H1 CDI system, and they do help the noise problem. I've observed a small reduction in spark intensity with 5k resistors on an H2 system.

Thanks, Jim, I got a set with a Nev. Lush retard ignition I had done for my H2, assumed they would do the job!

Compliance with Euro 4 (?) emission standards is a major problem for bike manufacturers, hence the big mufflers. I don't think a Kawasaki triple would get through. Come to think of it, triples have 3 really big mufflers! :?

The 3/8 Gator Socket just arrived from ebay, $12.88 - free shipping. Nice snug fit down the H2 inner fork tube to hold the cylinder fork and good for other stuff you least expect. Fits 7-19mm

I know. I really hate the way the mufflers on new bikes look.
