And another thing. He contacted ME to buy it at 11pm, but was going to bed, so I called him at ABOUT 7:30, AND IT WAS SOLD. So yeah I was mad. What's even funnier is the guy that said he was on his way never showed, so he sold it to a 3rd party and within hours that 3 digit Bridgeport engine alone is on CL for the $1000 I told the seller it was worth. there is both a, b boxes, only 1 windowed carb, 2 later carbs, and a set of chambers left. And I got paid about 2 AM for another deal that finally came through, so I did have the cash, and was ready to go buy it.
heck why would I be upset?

I think its sold too, the guy that bought it has a buyer that has a 3 digit frame with close numbers. So maybe its all for the best, another rare triple will live... just not mine.

if your bikes aren't money why aren't you giving them away to the local kids.

i have actually. 78 CB750 with 12k on it,m ran perfect, 68 and 72 CB450, ran great both of them, 68cb had rebuilt motor. Ive given away complete rd's, GT550, motors, frames, body work, and more parts than i can shake a stick at. And more labor than I care to think about.

the POINT is in the same post about whining about how you feel you got slighted you also brag about how you get crap for almost free. then you call the guy and tell him how he got screwed.. because you were mad you didnt get to do it first. Bad mojo, real bad. If we can see this on a message oard hundreds of miles away, a barely above comatose customer should see it from the minute they walk in the door.

and, i dont want your body work, i dont have an ealry h1 nor do i want one. BUT i do have a set of *perfect* windowed carbs sitting in a box that i will probably give away to somebody I consider a friend who needs em.
