I too used the internal stingers in the seventies on my H2 and dirt bikes to help keep them quiet ,as the less people you annoy the more places you can ride ,On the H2 I fitted all three pipes inside frame two uptop one under in middle in a upside down triangle always wondered if I had of triangled the pipes to fit them in tighter how they would have worked
so no ground clearance problems in corners but only good for track use , as ground clearance up and down was limited

No, still have to get the stingers welded in place.

How about a wider power band, more of both torque and horsepower, more usable, tractable, end uses leaner jetting.

That is what Fueling and I found with the anti-reversion cones. On a NASCAR small block Chevy engine with anti-reversion cones, in a long race, like 500 miles, with the cones, eliminated one complete fuel stop and, drove better all the way around. These were marketed by a car exhaust company named Cyclone years ago.

There is always something better out there. I have a ton of money invested in pipes, and I'm not spending any more. Fuel mileage is a moot point with me, And I don't need anymore torque or hp for our short track, it will just go up in tire smoke and slow me down. (and I'm slow already...... )

Any picture or drawings of these cones? I know about them from my xs650's but never knew of their use on two-strokes. But I took a couple of decades off.
