my 71 H1 sucks, you can kick it till your blue in the face.... ya know I should put the carbs back on that thing...

Anyway, a 2 stroke in theory should fire up in one full revolution. But some have larger crankcases then others, so you may need 2 revolutions to induce proper fuel into compression. And any leakage of any type makes it worse.
Now if your carb is capable of inducing the right amount of fuel on a low speed suction, theres another issue.
My Brits would all fire almost exclusively on one kick, due to the tickler and experience, nobody wants to kick a 650 twin a dozen times..
Really every 2 stroke street bike I ever owned started quite easily.

Had a friend Wayyyy back when, with a T10 Suzuki ('65? 250 twin) with a combined starter/generator - Man if you LOOKED at the starter button, that thing was running........ (Strange, the things you remember!) :crazy:
