Just a "blind" guess without pictures, but "could" be around what that purple mismatched H2-c sold for, referenced above. But again, without pictures, any seller can claim anything he wants - rebuilt this and that - unless you've seen the bike up close and in person, or you know the seller personally?

Well Saman , not many H2 seem to come up in texas for sure.
if you are willing to ship that from Washington state.
just depends on if the history is verifiable.
i would rather wait for a known bike to come up via this forum.
just my 0.02 cents

More info:
I am in Tyler, Texas (100 miles east of Dallas).
Bike is in Washington (state) priced at $8k
Correct numbering on frame and engine (as far as I can tell) H2E42844, H2F42652
re-built engine (a while back)
professional paint
good chrome
stock pipes
filter pods
good tires
Thoughts?

For that kind of money I would fly out there and look at it personally. Second option would be to have a representative go look it over. You might find a member of this forum who can lay eyes on it for you.

+1...very good idea. Heck, make a vacation out of it and catch a Mariners game or sight see a bit. That way, if the bike doesn't meet your expectations or the deal just doesn't happen, the trip isn't totally wasted.

You just do NOT want to end up with a higher dollar bike that requires you to put alot of $$ into it just to make it a solid, presentable runner, and in the end, end up having spent way more than you should have, had you started with a decent original and fairly complete bike needing restoration, but costing a third to half as much, as Phil (BBP) described.

I wonder how far it is from John G in Battleground?

Man, he's been a stranger here of late huh?

Depends...he's closer to Oregon than he is to Canada.

I'm guessing he's busy, but probably still quietly checks in periodically.
