I also got the clear, it turned yellow after a couple years and got hard as a rock. The stuff split at bad opportunities, usually while riding, and left my shoes smelling like gas for weeks. I bought some black rubber line from Advance and been running it for the last 3 years without issue......and it's still soft and comes off the spouts good.
