The World's Fastest Indian -- Burt Munro

I just watched the movies last night. Great movie! I looked up his speed records. His record for bikes under 1000cc still stands today. That is amazing. He posted an unofficial, one way run of just over 205 mph that was officially timed at Bonneville.

Even though the movie director tried to make Burt look like a real character, I suspect that he was even more eccentric in real life. I hope so, anyway.

What an amazing design & build.
I don't think the speed of the bike is important at all; purely about respect, admiration, fabrication, and creativity.
All involved must be very proud.

I watched that movie again a couple of weeks ago. One of my favorites! I liked how he cut his grass.
