Titanium works better, just drill and tap for a M6 button head screw on the end of the slider.

One of the stupidest things I've ever done was to make a set of Titanium brush cutter blades..............used them once, put the fire out :oops:

The last two S1 project bikes I picked up both had original 70's crash bars fitted. I kept banging my knees on them, so I took them off. Offered them on here, but no interest. Put them on Ebay, but no bids. Took them to the metal recyclers in the end. They probably would have fitted most Triples as they bolted to the frame and could be adjusted. But nobody wanted them. Oh well.
