Excuse my ignorance here, but how come no Honda section? There are the other big 3. Didn't Honda have 2 strokes or triples?

They did have a 250 Triple two stroke and a 400 Triple two stroke in the 80's. Very scarce where they were sold, I dont think the US got any.

dont remember tham having a 250 triple nige :shock: but defo a 250 twin and 400 triple (v3!) - both gp bike copies, jap market had a ns500 too i believe

The MVX250F was a V3 Triple.. I think it may have been only available in Japan.. It had engine trouble.

I always thought that 250 was the bike they developed into the NSR400, but see this is never ever mentioned in any articles about the 400. Is that because of the embarrasment about the self destructing 250, or have I got it wrong all this time.
