Sorry I have not been on this site for awhile and it seems not as busy as it used to be.

The last time I went to Midohio was in 2008, 11 years ago...wow, where did the time go? Last year I plan to go to celebrate the NAKTC 20th Anniv but the plan went south. I am going this year and already bought the tickets. We used to get a corral space in the infield for free but this year the NAKTC has to join the AMA as a chartered club in order to get a corral space (cost $300).

I am sure it will be different and I sense energy with the triples enthusiasts may not be at the level as it used to be...hope I am wrong though.

I always wanted to build a "73 H1D Lime Green Brochure Bike" but never got around it. I recently decided to pursue the project and hope to be done by Midohio next week. i am not there yet and it will be a tall challenge to get it done in time.

As always, our tradition to is to make a new T-shirt design for each gathering. You guessed it! I chose the H1D brochure bike that was never sold to the public. I just got done with the design and placed a low quantity order so it cost almost $20 per shirt after tax. I thought it was pricey but no other shops would take on a last notice demand and low quantity order.

Anyway, I do get requests from time to time for the shirts but I don't remake the shirts. If you like the NAKTC 21st Anniv shirt, please IM me for the size and quantity. This is practically my cost $20 + shipping. US shipping is Priority Mail Flat Rate of $7.90 or International flat rate of $25 (sorry if you're not from the US). I just wanted to offer to triple fans that's all.

I really look forward to see some of you there next week. Let me know if you like the mock-up shirt image (white square around the logo in front of shirt will not show up like that on a real shirt).

Hi YT,

True, this site isn't as busy as it used to be, but I don't think enthusiasm has died down. A lot of guys using Facebook to communicate and post pics. Nothing like this forum, however, as a resource and archive of great information. Also, this forum remains the home of and official site for the annual Eastern 2 Stroke meet at Deals Gap.

Take care,
Chris (NAKTC triple of the month, Jan. 2000)

Hi Chris,

May be we are all aging and slowing down. I've never been to the Deals Gap and I plan to some day. It's hard to believe decades just went by and I am feeling so behind of what I want to do with the triples that I collected over the years, My initial goal was to own 7 triples but I literally lost count now -- most of them needs attention though. I do regret that I have been too quiet for too long. My 2 kids are practically grownups now (in college) so I hope to become active again.

Regardless, hope to see those who will be at Midohio this weekend.
