I think that leaves me out
He did a lot of measuring I didn't quite keep up with when he first chucked it up. Also after he measured some stuff he took it off and reground the spindle he made just a bit right behind the threads to get the head to really seat hard on it and then remeasured.
Again I have no idea whats what, so I let him do his thing, he asked questions on the dimensions which I had calculated for the squish band and he made them to those.
When we were done and rechecked the squish it was the very very close to the same at all four points around the piston, which was the thickness of the gasket and changes about .020 moving to the center of the bore so it has a slight angle on the squish area of about 3 deg , the squish area is about .410 or so.
Dont know if thats good or bad but it now IS what it IS.
After reading up on this I relized its all very complex and the opinions range from its worthless without figuring about half dozen other factors in the processes, to it will improve combustion and allow craptastic fuel to be run without dentition and give a 5hp boost……Dont matter I will never know

Just could not leave well enough alone.
