(He's going to grab Bob?)

That Vincent Black Shadow owner could be the only one left who bought his new. It's amazing you happened to meet him.

Wow - he must have been about 20 to 22 years old when he bought that Vincent then :o He must have been from pretty rich stock then because they were EXPENSIVE bikes and to have got it new at that young age would have been special. My father would have been 90 this year (if he were still alive) and went through great difficulty to buy one new back then too. He and my mother both worked (unusual for women then, just after the war as the demobbed soldiers were taking most jobs) and lived in a caravan to be able to afford it. And in fact they couldn't really afford it and had to sell it after one year

Agree Hal was and still is a very expensive bike.still some stickers from Le bol d'or of the 70s 80s 90s on this bike and the owner said he also owns a Yamaha XJ 650 four.

Thanks JP for posting, nice to see familiar faces + bikes... lucky you, our summer is already over. That Motobecane (or Motoconfort?) is a very unique triple, never seen in my life.

Motobecane or Motoconfort , same factory in fact but two brands so they could have two dealers in each town, mostly built mopeds and was the biggest factory in the world on the earlies 60s for two wheels with engine but only with mopeds!!!
They built only 750 of those 350 triples on 73 74 but the bike was a bad seller cause it was over priced, at this time it cost more than £100 than a S2 or a GT 380 and £150 more than Yam RD 350 so what do the youngers as me at this time, they bought a japanese bike.
