My friend who I was going to ride with to the Gap is no longer able to go.
Looking for a ride for me and my H2 from MD; 1 mile off of Rt 495 and Rt 270.
Obviously willing to split costs, driving, etc.
Anybody near by or headed down 495 from up north?

Desparation now starting to set in considering the rooms are gone.
Anybody semi-close to Rockville, MD so that I could rent a U-haul pickup and drive to you?

Jim,

Is Jay Dav not coming? I know you used to always ride with him. Where is Jay BTW as he's MIA.

I think a lot of us are trying to figure that out. I, (and a few others) have tried to call him, sent PM's, etc... no reply.

I too am worried about Jay.
When the Gap was announced he seemed really into our usual trek.
He sent me this a few days ago:
"due to unforeseen circumstances, I am not attending the meet this year. Lot of reasons, lease being the early date this year and all my bikes are down with major problems.
Sorry
Jay"

He knows that he is welcome to ride my bike as much as he wants and would think he knows that he could borrow a bike anytime.
I sent him a PA a few days ago saying I hoped all was OK at home and to call or email when he had a minute.
Have not heard back; I've got to think that something is wrong as this is not the Jay we all know.

There is a guy on this board (forget who) that lives close to him in NH; sure hope all is OK.

I too would like to go....and I have a 2 bike motorcycle trailer (enclosed of course).... haven't figured out how to get there though since my truck gets horrible gas mileage (2000 F350 with 8 inch lift) not to mention it is not that comfortable.
just putting it out there.
