Post subject:  2017 FIM Superbike World Championship - Laguna Seca
Actually Mazda Raceway, but for easiest recognition purposes I titled the "old" track name. Early notice, but in case some wanted to plan well in advance. I plan to book an overnight room for the Saturday's Racebike on the Row gathering.

We had a VERY tiny representation this past July, so try to dust off your Triples (or anything two-stroke) and make a showing in 2017.

Motul FIM Superbike World Championship GEICO Motorcycle U.S. Round

July 7-9, 2017

What: Many of the world’s greatest motorcycle road racers will descend upon Mazda Raceway for the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship GEICO U.S. Round featuring MotoAmerica. The international and national two-wheel extravaganza is a spectacular demonstration of rider and machine working as one, with championship implications both in the United States and on the world scene. More than a couple of this season’s races came down to moves made at the final turn on the last lap so there’s every reason to believe they’ll finish that way again in 2017.

Just over 3 months away for the west coast guys, so just bumping this up. I'm making this a weekend getaway with the missus and our li'l doggie (at a pet-friendly motel in Monterey), so I'll be down to hang out on Cannery Row on Saturday.

Last year it was ONLY 3 of us representing the Triples, so let's try to get at least a few more this July. If you plan to book a nearby motel, keep in mind it won't be very cheap since they tend to up their prices whenever a major event is in town.
