I think that Z1-R is painted black, maybe not original. The Z1-R Mk2 was available here, I'm nearly certain it had Kawasaki's first Fuel Injection set-up, and it was black from the factory. The Z1-R is a seriously good looking bike!!

Yes, they came in black with pin striping, not sure of the colors though....

I'm a Kawasaki man from way, way back, but I gotta love those 4-cyl. Yamahas. Actually, I am a 2-stroke man longer than I have been a Kawasaki man - must be what it is!!
