Limited slots available for hook-ups for campers.

Primitive camping available usually in camping area "D", campers, tents. No grills, portatoilets only. Showers and bathrooms available for use in the Pit Area. There are Roach Coaches in the Pit Area, around perimeter road and the Fan Zone. Plenty of places to eat in town and some nice riding south of town. If you want to camp you need to get tickets as soon as they become available, camping sells out FAST for Vintage days.

I post here for volunteers, they always need folks to help. its a good deal. A half days work gets you two tickets for all days and camping such as it is. Dofin

How long has it been since you guys camped there?
I understand they separate the RV stuff from the tent stuff last year and that tents are on their on in what is called section 'B'.

Sorry Ric I haven't camped there. I quoted you by accident. I like staying in a motel near the Tilted Kilt :D

Ric I camped last year and have for the past several years. Last year the tent campers were mostly together(near the VJMC area)with a few small campers mixed in. There was a shower trailer in the tent camp grounds last year along with portipotties and a new shower point across from the Norton camping area. At the entrance to the tent site was a food truck, good for coffee in the morning. The crowd was mostly tame with a few semi wild parties, none of which were near me. All in all not a bad experience if you like camping.

This the 2015 map. Is section 'B' where you camped. And, do you turn right to drive by section "A" to get to "B"?

Do you (can you) get there after 3 pm on Thursday to grab a camping spot in "B"?

Yes I camped in "B".
Yes you can turn right at the end of the 4lane and drive past the VJMC("A")right to "B".
Yes arrive Thursday afternoon and grab a site. If you tent camp you can wedge in almost anywhere since the sites are not marked off.

Ric, your right big change in 2015. tent camping in lot B, defiantly a good idea to get there early for a decent camping slot. Stay in the upper areas as it gets VERY muddy and crowded in the lower portion. Some folks weren't able or extremely difficult to get out with their tow vehicles until after the show.

Sorry about the faulty memory earlier!!! I volunteer and we camped in a different area last year. They had to make a change because they sold TONS of tickets and it was crazy!! bigger than Honda Indy or MotoAmerica!! Dofin
