Just came across this tonight, but I'd like to email the Monterey Chamber of Commerce to confirm that the Row will be closed like with the Moto GP...

We had flown out from CT to see the last, (our first) MotoGP in 2013. Had the Norton 850 shipped out in a container and rode it around Monterey and went to bike night on Cannery Row, we absolutely loved it, a great time. We are planning another vacation to CA this July and will have to check it out.

My email to Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce:

I was wondering if you know whether or not Cannery Row will be closed off to motorcycle traffic-only on Saturday July 18, 2015, during the FIM Superbike World Championship race weekend, as they previously had done each year for the since-cancelled Moto GP race series which also used to be held at Laguna Seca Raceway?

Response from MPCC:

Thank you for reaching out to us here at MPCC! I called the Cannery Row Company offices, and they did confirm that the street will be closed to motorcycles only on that day.

So at this point it looks like we're good to go! It'll be nice to get back to the Row - that was always a blast to ride, park, and hang out!
