Oh? Where did you get that info from? (I'm not pissed, just surprised). I knew it was getting pretty big but I thought Mid Ohio was still bigger... I know the swap meet at Mid Ohio is still bigger (but not by as much as it used to be) ...... Barber' VMF is also a much nicer event place than Mud Ohio.... And the museum alone is worth the trip...

Last year, late Saturday afternoon, they made an announcement that there were x number of people in attendance and that made it the largest vintage motorcycle event in North America. I don't remember the number and I would have no idea if it were accurate. I am just repeating what they said. I can tell you this, it is sooo big that I spent most of two days just walking around looking at the bikes people brought and did not have time to see them all! I really did not spend much time watching the races.

When we were kids, my brother started with an AMF Harley Davison 90-cc 2-stroke. He was wondering if he'd see one there. Well, we saw a lot of them. One guy at the swap meet area had a business just restoring the AMF 2-strokes and had every displacement they sold. He told us their history, the Italian company that made them, yadda, yadda. I never got bored.

Our local vintage motorcycle club (Time-Warp Vintage Motorcycle Club) had a BBQ in the paddock on Saturday evening. Great time of fun and enjoyment and good time to see the racers up close and talk with some. While I think I saw our triples guys stuff, I did not see any out and about or I would have introduced myself. It is truely a great event.

Darlene and I will be in the swap meet area again this year. Row E, booth 22. I won't have much tripple stuff tho... Usually the tripple stuff in my booth is something that was purchased....

Thanks. Good to know. I will look for you. Last year I was looking for a rear grab bar for my H1F, but no luck. One guy said he had one, but never could find it in all of his stuff. I know there are nice repos out there, but I kinda want an original that is not in bad condition.
Also, there was an H1F in the auction that looked exactly like mine, green, same manufacturing month and in the same condition. I was curious how much it went for, but I never heard. Yes, I know that H1F's did not come in green. Apparently both have been repainted at some time.

There are several of us from the KTC making the journey down to Barber this year, including myself (Drewski), Pipewelder and Rick that I know of. Pipewelder and I are bringing our h2's along for the ride over from the Hilton!

There are a whack of cafe guys from DoTheTon.com and among them are a bunch of 2 stroke guys. We'll be over near the swap meet area at the tunnel entrance to the infield near corner 14.

Here's a link to describe where we'll be.

The adjacent parking lot has a great Thai restaurant and a good pub with girls in kilts serving you. :shifty:

Now it's starting to really sound like it's worth attending.
