Yes i have a 73 and it had handling problems like all of them and that,s why its better left in the seventies and built some-think a bit better that could handle a lot more power . But still looked like a old kawasaki h2r . You did-en mention the carbs i see they are round slides.

VM34 at the time picture was taken.
VM38 powerjetted and UFOed today, and a lot more portwork done than with the 95 rwhp set-up

Yes.

Jollymoto pipes. Modded to get the look I wanted though.

And Lectron 36 probably flows just as good as my VM38's.

You may try Lectron 40, they are used a lot for HO H2 engines. Some bore them out to 44mm though.......

If you don,t mind me asking what size are the chambers . I have 118 on the h2r at the moment that's as big as i could fit under it and still have good ground clearance . kwacka karl ozz... :ugeek:

Hi Karl

It's a H2B-frame. It is WAY better than 72/73 frame, feels a lot stiffer.

Alubox swinger with needle bearings, same length as early H2. Better rear shocks. Air pressurized front fork with progressive springs. 18 inch wheels, radial tyres, 160 rear. Lifted 15mm rear end, lowered 25mm front. Tapered bearings in steering column. Double front disc brake. 1,5 steeper rake than early H2.
The bike handles 1000 times better than a stock early H2, and NEVER whobbles......... so far. Have not tried the bike with all that power so far, too much snow here. Had 95 rwhp last season, and that was within my "comfort zone".
I think she will handle the new set-up.

Here she is, if you have not seen her:

Beautiful H2 - really like those swingarm decals.

Reminds me of my race H2 (also H2B frame w/mods):
