I've been working on a stroker crank for my h2r rep for a wile now and finally finished it . it's been long hall machining up flywheels and laverent seals spacers the two ends billet oil catchers . I spent a lot of time balancing the six flywheels it should rev hopefully to about twelve grand now . next job is to bore the barrels and re sleeve them to except the 78 mm pistons the stroke is 70mm so it should give me 1002 cc not to shabby . The h2r has got 90hp at the rear wheel now hopefully this reed motor will get around 140hp or more . kwacka karl ozz.... :ugeek:

The crank is welded and balanced within half a gram rods are polished slotted and extra oil holes in the big ends and wider liter rollers and liter cages. I achieved about ten percent or more balance then standard i wont say a figure but i will say i bored the hardened big end pins to partly get there and used a pack of eight sided tungsten tool bits and weeks of machining to get where i needed to be on the crank wheels. hand made thrust washers had to be made to achieve right spacing's and that's just some of the things that i had to do. kwacka karl ozz...

I'm very interested too. What are you planning for the transfers? Maybe case reeds and extra transfer ports where the intake used to be, like Henry's engine?

A 70mm stroke 2-stroke engine revving to 12000 rpm?

What physical laws within gas dynamics theory you gonna break to get that engine revving 12000 before falling dead flat on it's face?

You could say that bill ....some one had to do it . I was going to build a bigger crank about twelve years ago or more but the h2 was a hand full with 90bwhp so i stopped and built the h2r instead . Something with bigger tube and bigger tyres that would take a lot more hp and looked the part as well yes we trade notes. small world.....kwacka karl ...ozz
