Pipe Welder (Jim) over on the other side of the Canadian border, has been getting up some steam in an awesome build he started thinking up a while back.
You can read all the pages , but I suggest you skip ahead to the last pages where he shows himself fabbing a fuel tank.
I was very impressed. (guess you could tell eh?)

I suspect a lot of guys here have already seen that thread. I love the tank. I always figured if I wanted a special tank I'd make if from aluminum. Now I have some great instructions as to how. Not that mine would look that good. Fiberglass is great too, for those who have the talent and experience to work with that hateful stinking messy stuff.

welding is a skill , but welding thin aluminum is an art fir sure. :thumbup:
