Look carefully at the float needle tips. On my H2, if they get a visible ring on them from the seat, they won't close properly even if they're clean. Also make sure there's no worn dent in the brass piece that pushes on the needle. If there is, sand it smooth so the end of the needle can slide across it easily.

Thanks for the tip Jim, I'll make sure to check that. Your parts looks very nice by the way. Great value for the price in my opinion

Good news!! Jims stuff is a killer deal and very nice looking.
I would love to see the throttle cable again and how it works to sync the carbs..... I still can't wrap my head around it, but I'm glad it's working

I appreciate the compliments. I just try to give the kind of deal I like to get when I buy something.

I got the carb cleaned and the bike running pretty well last night. My right hand cylinder needs a new trigger coil on the stator, the spark is a little weak. I ordered one off ebay; should be here middle of next week. In the mean time, here are pictures of the final assembly

The pickup either triggers the CDI unit or it does not, so it can't cause a weak spark. If it's really weak I'd suspect something after the CDI unit, like the coil or plug wire. Also, check to be sure you don't have a resistor cap or plug on that cylinder.

Thanks Jim, I'll check those out. I did ohm test the ignition coil and it seemed to be okay. I also fitted new plug caps and new metal thingies that actually touch the plug to each coil as well.

You can swap coils by switching two coil primary wires and the two plug wires and see if the weak spark moves.
