I put 10 miles on the bike today, it ran very well. However, I am noticing a lot of partially burn oil on the engine cases and oil pump cover. It appears to be coming from the right hand cylinder, maybe from the exhaust port? The oil is gray in color. Any ideas?

That's probably gear oil.

If you're not sure where it's coming from, clean all the surfaces thoroughly and go for a short ride. If it's the exhaust port, check the seal of the chamber adapter where it seats against the cylinder, and check the seal of the head pipe into the adapter. You can use a little silicone sealer to seal the adapter to the cylinder, and you need to use a fair amount of sealer to seal the head pipe into the adapter. Also, let that joint dry overnight before starting the engine.

I'm thinking it is probably coming from the exhaust. I'll try the silicone trick that Jim suggested

My bet is it was exhaust port spooge….good luck getting it to stop I had mine sealed up real nice then something changed and it is spooging again…oh well winter is near!

The bike runs and rides very well. Steering is neutral and quick but nice and steady at 75mph. Suspension is firm like I expected. I have 75 miles on the bike so far
