Jorgen, you know I've been following your photos for quite a while. The finished bike looks even better than I thought it could. I can't wait to see it once you take the protective tape off the head pipes. :P

An amazing bike Jorgen! If I ever get around to painting my bike, I'd like to use the same finish as you have but in 78 green. It looks tough as nails!
Regarding the exhaust wrap, any noticeable shift on the dyno?

Jim: The tape takes care of any flat spots you might have, in addition to give you about 50% higher revvs in 6. th gear. You should try the magical trick

Walms: The matt finish is cool I think, and the contrast to the clear section on top of thank with gold stripes around the clear part is a detail. (I will finf a picture of it)

Thing is, in sunlight only, you can clearly see the metallic effect in the matt paint, almost bronze colored (the metallic particles in the paint if you see what I mean)

Regarding Jims tape, it is there mainly for 1 reason: The looks. BUT: In theory you get a hp or two extra when running due to the wrapping keeps the exhaust header warmer. The speed of sound goes faster whitin a warmer exhaust header, that means you do not loose revvs when running due to wind cooling the exhaust. So: More heat, more revvs, more power, more detonation

Thanks for all the "anal" :D input guys, it is really appreciated!!!

Jorgen
