Two great things about this post

1. Pictures of an H2 I just can't stop looking at!
2. A post from Sam Foster!

your john Tickle rear sets for H2 are similar to the dunstall rear sets for H2 I owns
Your chopped Joly exhausts are awesome but the tapes on head exhausts are bad for the cooling 8-)

That is the coolest, sharpest looking H2 I have ever seen. Well done and thank you for the pics. Please feel free to post more.

Wow.

Reading all the posts are very, very

Regarding the wrapping: My intention with it was to make a litte more "bad ass caferacer look", with tha matt paint and short glossy pipes.
Like the contrast, and I wanna have the motor and exhaust glossy. The headers are too hot for any known glossy paint that I know of, but the section behind it are not. Well, for some reason as you see in the pictures, the glossy paint (2k) on right exhaust belly made bubbles almost immediately, while the 2 other pipes did not. Don't have a clue why.

The cylinder temp is monitored on each 3 cylinders, (same instruments as walms are using, a sensor between plug and head) so I get an picture of the heat condition. Thing is, I must f.ex use my higgsy or dencoes or figaroli or even stock pipes on the bike to see it they go cooler as a referance. Will do that. When on pipe and full throttle on fifth up to real (not on optimistic H2 speedo)208 km/h (130 mph) the temp gauge shows 165 C (329) at most, and starts deto as hell and I have to back off throttle. In forth gear 180 km it is less of a problem. So, within time on full throttle the hear goes up a lot. When cruising in 60 mph off pipe the temp is about 100C (212F) Have my F8 with F5 cyls as bad reference, and temp on thatv lady is sky high compared to this, working temp when cruising 60mph (on pipe that is) about 200C (392F)

Will do some tests and see temp readings later on.

Jorgen

Your temps are similar to mine on my 500...
A cruise off the pipe - 220, on the pipe - 280 and WFO 330

Do you have a build thread somewhere on your bike Jorgen?

Henry:

My sensors are located between spark plugs and heads, a "poor mans version" of your EGT's in the headers. I suppose the ex gasses are a lot hotter.

I have a build thread, but it is not a very good one. It is on the Canadian board, here:

Thank's for the question :)

Attached is a picture of my mascot. His name is Max, and 2 minutes after we started taking pictures of my bike he put himself in the position you see in the picture and sat there for several minutes so we could finish all the pictures taken of him  Kind of "Hollywood" act by the dog 8-)
