Anyone running these on their S2 or S3? I have a set of nice adapters that position carb exactly where the stock carb would be. I've got a bunch of H1 rebuildable carbs lying around. I need to move up in jet size and thought this might be a better idea. :?:

If you use H1 on S2/3 remember to jet up or holes can develop.

Burning holes in pistons? Why would stock H1 jetting be so lean????

Smaller pistons means less vacuum to pull fuel thru jets... so jets need to be larger to compensate.

Any pics Bill? Are they just modified H1 manifolds or has someone been very creative? Been thinking about doing that carb swap myself, using the ones I bored out to 30mm. (after I "correct" them) When life gets out of the way of all my other plans (dreams?) :wtf:

Someone just hacksawed the round carb mount off of an H1 and hacked of the S3 carb mount portion and heli arched the two pieces. Voila..... I can send a pic if your interested in seeing them....

I used to think the stock air box lessened the reversion thus helping low end but I think it's just the fact that it's closed up a big more and slightly choking the carbs to draw more fuel. Smaller slugs draw less fuel.....duh. I think I knew that at one time but I forgot that and where the cake is hidden in the fridge. Thanks.
