Wow, lot of copper under those cylinders. Did you have machine a lot off the bases for repair or? Eta. for availability and cost. Are you going to race it or? Sounds good! Were you holding the pump wide open or was that just the idle position?

Don, It had a lift kit, with 2 gaskets and a .020" shim before. I replaced it with a .060" copper base for less trouble. And if you listen in the video, I said I hold the cam wide open to fill the lines.

I re-geared last night, took the racing sprocket off and installed a 45 rear with a 15 front. Got all the street legal gear put back on and even found the plate sticker to put on. (old one was 2013... ) Reset a float as it was overflowing. Rebuilt the fuel lines today and fitted filters.

I took her out today for a short run to get gas, clutch was dragging bad, and the carb started flooding worse. (found a chunk of "something" keeping the fuel needle from seating) Doodled a bit with the air screws after I got back, the 50's are way too big, so some 40's are going in. Not sure about the sytec, will doodle a bit more to see if I can stop the dragging. All in all, she runs nice so far........
