Others' experiences are welcome, but here's the deal on my CDI units... All my magneto CDI units, including the H2 units, are based on the original circuits. I have used components with higher current and voltage ratings for longevity, but the performance is essentially the same as stock units when they were made (as opposed to 40 years later). The only other change I made was to the trigger circuit, to make them resistant to accidental connection to 12V from the battery.

As you probably figured out, my set of four H2 CDI units is electrically identical to the All-In-One unit.

My last name starts with an H. :P

Once you use a Lakeland box - you never go back! Love mine - perfect fit - no issues at all

At the rate the stock electronics have been going out the past few years. it should be part of a rebuild now. As the old stuff, even if working fine, will most likely be going out soon anyway.

my bike have been a total nightmare where almost everything have been more or less broken or junky. So things like the lakeland all in one box for me is perfect, i bolt it on and i have a part i know that is functioning properly and will for a long time..

Everything Jim manufactures are top quality!
