We actually tried basic 3 angle, 5 angle, and radius cuts on Al Salaverria's carbs for his Yamaha and Aprilia racers. Blended 3 angle isn't bad at all. Would also like to see some sort of still air box for them, though, lots of work, but, it does help. Project for later.

A bit more done...... :P Had to convert the carb tops to screw in type. they came with slip in elbows, but finally got them mounted after the throttle tube mod. I also got around to doing the Sytec mod, of moving the pivot back 10mm, which gives more movement. I didn't feel like making a new pin, so I ground off the swedged back, Drilled and tapped for a 4/40 screw and loctited it in. It feels about the same as the ball bearing mechanism that the clutch had 3 Barnette springs, and now has 5.

Your motor aint got no crank in it for lightened reciprocating mass I assume? :D :D :D

Changing the leverage ratio on the release is a good deal, especially with extra plate clutches, and/or heavy tension springs. I did this eons ago when I ran the 5 Barnett springs, helped a lot, but, also used what was called "Power Pull" lever on the handlebar, which is, for the most part, the dirt bike levers we see today everywhere.

On the big carb setup on my street bike H2 with 39.50 offset bore carbs, I split the choke and throttle, used an F11M throttle, and A7 choke lever on the other side of the bars, dirt bike headlight switch/horn button. Not stock, but, it was workable for the times.

Moo

Looks like thats going to be a hotrod for sure

I am going to do the mod to Ralf's release, It doesn't like my 15 plate clutch system, needs a bit more movement, for now, I had to adjust my EX clutch perch out as far as I can, drags very very slightly.

I am going to split the cases and have my trans done and a crank, wonder if I need to try to find the 74/75 seal for the release, don't want to use an early one and have the release tear up the seal if I do the MOD to it. :?:
