Ralf's unit shouldn't have a throw problem, it is different from the Sytec. And it works with either seal.

Little by little. Ended up having to remove the adjuster from the oil pump cable to get enough "cable" to work the pump. I thought I would try before making a new cam for the pump. And after an extra trip to the hardware store for a 7/16-14 bolt to "match" the threads in the oil drain hole, I can fill er up! :banghead :e4

Normally our clutch release works without a problem on modified clutches. It has a bigger movement than the Sytech.
And normally only bold on and go with it,

Regards
Ralf

The 1 down, 4 up, or i up, 4 down is possible for H1 and H2 transmissions without KH500A8 case neutral detents, but it isn't a 5 minute swap, it needs the cases to be split, and the shift drum modified to stop the original neutral and to crate a new neutral detent cut, and a couple of different parts from other Kawasaki engines, minor case rework in the clutch case area, and re-pinning the neutral light switch roller on the end of the drum.

I outlined the process on the old KTW site long ago, but that info is long gone. Labor intensive, but, do-able.

To each, his own. I like the 1 up, all the rest down, as you don't get your foot ground off upshifting out of a turn.

 My powers of intellect dictate - UP for UP; DOWN for DOWN! (especially after 40odd years of bikes!!) :D
