Especially when it has reeds.

I rode by Super Dave (him on this bike) on the ride 2 yrs ago where Big Mo took his H2 from CRoT to Fontana Village and back. I was on my chambered RZ and couldn't hear my RZ running with the sound that bike made. Super Dave was also the one that found the part that flew off Big Mo's bike on the return trip. I was in front of Super Dave and stopped with him to help pinpoint the location and to provide some traffic safety when he got off to retrieve it. You are so right in saying it is LOUD. :o

I just remember it stopped really well.

I started it before I took it apart and yes it is a good runner. Motor had to come apart to fix the kick starter
and that's when I noticed 3rd gear on the output shaft was worn. From what I here it's common on H2's.
My Gold 72 had a 3rd gear problem and I know what to look for now. The one thing I don't like is the
reverse shift pattern and I'm going to try and change the linkage or shifter . So how did the bike handle?
The tins are off to paint so it will be a while before I can ride it.

With dual EX calipers it's lucky you didn't do a front flip.

Well, 4 piston opposed calipers really have the same ratio as 2-piston calipers. Still, tons of stopping power!
