Hey I am no expert and you may be right - just going by the sticker on the pipes and the fact that the the wife of the guy that sold me the bike said she was Tony Nicosia's sister and he had sent them to her husband. They had several Triples and a bunch of Denco parts and other Kawasaki memorabilia.

Anyway - thanks for the info. I prefer the stock pipes that also came with the bike so I put them on and just want to get these out of my garage after sitting around for over a year. Hopefully will go to someone that needs them.

Love the bike - had the exact same year/model/color H1 when I was 19 and now I am having a blast riding it again.

NO!!, saint barry is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT... (our resident Denco/TNT specialist  ) they are specII's or FBG or something...NOT Denco/TNT

Heck, Barry is probably more of an expert than Tony himself... (said tongue in cheek as many of us have spent a lot of time on the phone with Tony over the years)

Does your bike have authentic Cobra cyls/heads/portwork?    Or are they reproduction decal stickers?

Ok - you win - next time you talk to Tony (is he still alive?) ask him if he has a brother-in-law in St. Petersburg, FL- would like to know if any of the stuff he and his wife spoke of was remotely true.

As for the stickers on the heads I took them off right after I bought the bike over a year ago - no claim of any port work although he did have crank/seal work done by a guy in Dothan, AL.

Tony is alive and well, and still very interested in triples and helping guys with triples. I spoke to him about a week ago. The Alabama guy was Damon Kirkland, who retired a few years ago, and recently died. His business was taken up by Charlie Smith in the Baltimore area, and Charlie is known to do excellent crank work. Tony drops in here occasionally, so you never know if he might PM you with the information.
